Hen struggling to breathe.

Crop is about the size of a grape today but breathing still the same for the most part. She's now laying down more where before she struggled to. It seemed to make breathing harder. Not sure if she's laying now because her breathing has gotten easier and I can't see it or if she's so exhausted from fighting that she has no choice.

Can you post a photo of her lying in the position you describe? And also a closeup of her eyes.
Husband is currently holding her. She lays on her stomach/chest. I got some pictures of her eye. Hope it's clear enough.

The kind of photos I need to see in order to judge how your hen is feeling and how serious her status is are shots of her general posture as she lies there on her own, and a shot of her eyes so I can judge the level of her suffering. In other words, I look at photos of a sick chicken, and they give me important overall clues to her state of health. It's the next best thing to being there and observing your hen's behavior. A video is second best.

Photos depicting behavior rather than specific physical details are what is needed. Behavior, ideally observed first hand give important information on a chicken's general health status.

She's breathing slightly better today.

Have you been giving her grit? If not, offer her a dish next to her feed. That should take care of the remainder in the crop and also help the gizzard.

To further clean out the gizzard and also, as a bonus, molasses water can help perk her up. Give her a quarter cup of warm water with one teaspoon of molasses dissolved in it. Try to encourage her to drink it all.

She should also be getting vitamin E and selenium, either a sliver off a tablet or egg to help absorption. From the looks of her photos, our girl has plenty of fight left in her.

Her crop was completely empty this morning and yes all our chickens get grit along with Poultry booster. Her breathing is still barely improved. Slightly better than when it started. She breaths almost normal when laying but as soon as she attempts to move and gets even a little excited she begins to wheeze and struggle.

Do you have a mister? I'm thinking that if she has a respiratory infection she could benefit from medicated mist or vapor. Oxine and Betadine are both antimicrobials, and safe to breathe. They could act to kill fungal or bacterial infection.
