I have a cinnamon queen, and for the last year since she was added, everything has been blissful. All of a sudden, however, she is attacking all the birds except for the head hen. All the other birds have feathers pulled out of their backs, broken feathers, and the youngest is even getting a bare spot with some crusty blood. Why is she suddenly doing this, and what should I do about it?

Any changes to the set up or schedule? Maybe a late surge of spring hormones has made her cranky, who knows?

What does your set up look like? Any clutter in run to help the picked on birds take cover?

Fact #1; she's a repeat offender. No one is safe.

Fact #2; this inmate still is committing other offences despite being locked up.

Note #1; do you have young chicks near her? Will she commit infanticide?

Motion to press charges as a serial offender has been put for forth your honor.

If it pleases the court, we wish to press charges and move forward with the case to have this wicked beast sent to the barbecue chamber. The suspect is armed and dangerous using item; 'Beak' in the evidence list as a weapon. Suspect is unwilling to go through court sponsored therapy, reform, or do commmunity service, and grieving the mayor of the town also.
