As far as the first hen you posted about it sounds like to me she was "thinking" about going broody...but your second hen sounds like she may be I'll. If you have that resource I would stick with taking her to the vet although you have gotten some great advice here @casportpony can probably help you with the stools your wondering about it's not really my wheelhouse. She is 6 months old and is probably going thru a juvenile molt,

Nah...juvenile molts are done before laying starts.

I've seen this on occasion in the coop, and also from birds that were definitely ill and later died or were euthanized.
I'm not much for medicating, or diagnosing disease from droppings, so not sure what to tell you...sorry.
Maybe @casportpony or @Wyorp Rock or @WVduckchick
would have some more helpful advise.
