Hello, I have a pullet that 6 months old. Her name is Penguin. Today when I was free ranging my younger birds I noticed that Penguin's toe on her left foot looked bent and broken. She holds that foot up once in awhile as if to rest it. She seems a little bit in pain because of that, and it also looks a little bit swollen.

I'm very worried about her so please tell me what to do! Thank you very much for the quick replies!

Thank you for the replies! Sometimes she goes off by herself and stands on one foot. :( Other times she is with the other 3.

I'm afraid separating her would give her anxiety because she if very bonded with her brooder mates and so, well, I'm not sure... what do you think?

I'm so so sorry, my past rooster had that once, and one of my EE hens, Macy, has it.
I really wish I could help you...
If she's not hurting I guess just leave it.
