Lidocaine can be fatal to chickens, as can Benzocaine, especially on open wounds. Please do not use any 'caine' creams/ointments at all!!

I can tell you that if you try to ease their misery with 20 mgs of Ambien (think Kevorkian cocktail for a chicken), it doesnt work, and in fact it acts as some kind of wonder drug cure for a short time!

you can use asprin on chickens and dogs the brand name Bufferin" is the best it has less of a chance of causing stomach upset and ulcers
