Some of you might remember that my EE Henneth laid her last egg on Labor Day 2018. She had just begun laying that spring. She was a victim of bullying which we handled by Rehoming the bullies. She is gorgeous and a favorite of hubby’s so she became a pet. She has been happy, healthy, but eggless ever since.
Until now! July 1 I found a “bluish” (well, kinda striped shades) elongated egg on the coop floor in a shaded spot. Actually found 2. I puzzled but attributed them to others. Then found another every day. Today hubby caught Henneth in the act! I am so excited and happy to have my beautiful aqua green eggs back!
Has anyone ever had a pullet quit laying for 22 months then start again as a full grown hen?
