Hens doing the mating dance

I seen the strangest thing today. I know the rooster at times does a little dance for the hens but this morning one of my hens lowered one of her wings and dances in a little circle close to the rooster. He went running in the other direction. Kind of funny as she did it several times more..Is she wanting to mate? They are not laying yet so it weird to me...

She told him to get out the way and he complied.

That is funny. She is the head hen and the only one he bows down to. I have seen him take her on and I think he will have his way as he gets older. Thanks for the info. They are so funny at times...
