Hens or Roos? Barred rocks

They are both boys. BR's are usually pretty easy to tell by coloring, and you can sex them at an early age.

Both males. Color is very light compared to the females and the comb at that age is never that huge on a pullet anyway, not in the BR variety. I also see the first of the stringy, shiny saddle feathers.

Barred Rocks are sexable at hatch to a good certainty. That's one reason I love them.
