Hens wing torn off

Ok so plan right now is, keep it clean and sterilized til Saturday, bring her to the vet, if needed I will cull her, I won’t keep her alive if she can’t, but hopefully she will recover. Thank you guys so much, I never really expected this so happen, I’m still sorta processing it.
Have you thought about doing something to your coop?
Wrapping it with hardware cloth?

Yes I will definitely be doing something different now. Probably something like that so nothing can reach into the bars. I’m still don’t know why it would happen now it’s been 3 years and we’ve had 0 predator problems with our hens
I may put out some traps too. See if we can get a couple of those jerks out of our woods.

Update* so the hen is doing really well. She’s been in a crate in the garage, eating drinking and going to the bathroom regularly. I’ve been cleaning out the wound with epsom salt water and some wound cleaner I researched that I also use for my horses. I’ve also been putting betadine on it daily and putting a bit of aspirin in her water for pain, barely anything though as I know it can be a blood thinner. Unfortunately, the avian vet will be closed unexpectedly this weekend due to problems in the building so I can’t take her to a vet until Monday morning. She’s been doing awesome though and the wound is actually looking really good considering.

To bad about the vet. Though you seem to be doing your best for her.

Ok so the hen is currently at the vet. I have three options. Option 1 is get her surgery to fix the bone sticking out. That price can be as much as $250, option 2 is not so surgery, but take care of her as best I can, and once that area starts bugging her more, then put her down, option 3 is just to put her down right now. What should I do? She seems to be doing really well, she’s not in pain, she’s really doing awesome! What would you gifts suggest?
