her foot is hurt badly, please help

I think she is. but her foot is in a fist when she does it. I can check again though!! its hard to see under her when shes in the little box

but I was trying to hold under her wing that she is using to prop herself with so I could get a better view.

Seems like she's making steady, although slow, progess. I know your focusing on the leg she doesn't put any weight on, but how is the other leg/foot healing? Just give her time. Hopefully she is eating/drinking/pooping ok.

she;s not eating. is she getting depressed because shes all alone??

Could be. Does she have one or two gentle, calm friends that you could allow to visit with her each day? I doubt that they'll peck if no blood is visible. Try offering "high value" treats, as they say in the dog training world. Something extra delicious that she loves. She's not going to feel as hungry for her regular food.

Good luck!

I thought that if friends came to visit that she'd want to get up and walk, and that would be bad. I didn't wnt her to pushi t. maybe I'll put her outside in the sun today? near the coop perhaps?

she is sitting up like a cat this morning LOL! not standing, but sitting up!!! that is an improvement. can't get her to eat though

I'll try something yummy in a min. I have her out on the porch.

well she's scarfing down macaroni. she doesn't want the pellets though. prob bc I have some worming pellets in there too and they're gross? (was trying to dewrom my chickens in case they had worms bc some of them aren't acting right).

Good to hear she's eating something. Really need to get some protein in her limited diet. What about drinking? I'm hoping the quicker she can get back to her normal routine, the better she'll be. Outside, around other chickens, etc., etc.

ok what protein can I give her? I saw her drinking when I was spying on her a little while ago

so thats good!!

she can hear the others and she got a little excited when she heard them!

Scrambled eggs are always good---high protein and most chickens love them. I don't think she'll move around more than she feels like moving (without pain). She will sit still if it hurts her to move, but the other hens being nearby will make her happy.
