Here comes IKE!

I've been watching the weather channel and keeping an watch over the storm. Please any one in the path of this please be careful. We are in Indiana and getting alot of rain, lighting and thunder. So I can't imagine what it is like down south. My Prayers are with you all.

I've been up watching CNN and the Weather channel too. It's just such a huge storm that it boggles my mind. I can't understand why people chose to stay knowing that this monster was coming.

I hope all our BYC friends are safe and their homes were spared from the flooding and winds.

Thanks Jennifer I hope your famliy found a safe place to stay. Right now we are starting to get the back side of the storm. So far so good Alot of limbs down horses are good. I let the chicheks out and they ran to the barn then about 2 minutes later they were all back in the coop. Silly things are better off in the barn. Will keep every one updated . Hope others are ok let us know how you are.

So far we are ok. The wind and rain are tuff as I type it seems its getting stronger. I can't imagine how the people on the coast felt cause this is a very eerie (sp) feeling and we are way off the coast. I am 245 miles from Galveston straight up 45 and we live 15 minutes away from 45. I keep praying for all those in Galveston and surronding areas & all those in this things path.

We have had NOTHING here in south part or Texas. Ok, so some winds last night and this morning. Otherwise it just kept staying warm and muggy.

Haven't heard from family or friends in Houston so not sure how everything is. I did hear on the news that they have widespread power outage which doesn't surprise me.

Praying everyone faired well.
