HERE WE GO AGAIN Anyone SETTING Aug 30th - Sept 8th join me!!

My last one is still alive. I saw it's beak moving this morning. But my incubator was at 99% humidity and 76 degrees. Not sure what happened . I had it plugged into the battery back up in case the power went out. Which it never did. I need to read the dang manual.
My hatcher was at 99 this morning as well :( Hate that I cant keep it stable!!! 76% is high but someone told me you usually drown chicks before the lock down , not after so hopefully all will be ok. Be keeping good thoughts for you.

i have a problem i think, my chick isnt walking but is very loud.how come its not walking its been sense 1am last night it just scoots around is that normal
It could have splayed legs.. does it just scoot or does it sort of roll over ?? Does it have one or both leg stretched out from the body ??

I don't lockdown 'til Saturday 21st for the Sabelpoots and the 29th for the Pekins. This hatch seems to be going so slowly!

One of my Polish chicks from my previous hatch (3 weeks ago) has got a lot of hardened poop on one of his feet. Any ideas as to how I can soften and get rid of this for him/her? My fault for not noticing and dealing with earlier. Thanks

Strick her foot in warm water and gentley rub i..that chick poo seems to soften pretty fast.If it doesnt right away just wrap it for a few minutes in a wet tissue or paper towel.See if that works.Yeah the later take forever!!!
