i wouldnt worry if its started zipping and moving , mine looked to big because they didnt zip at all i opened them after 3 days late and no movement thats how i know . i think from what you say its doing it will be fine . i still have one egg due yesterday so im into day 22 with no sign of a pip but candled and can see movement so happy . others due tomo . ive left my chick in to bring the others out lol xx

So happy for you!!! It shouldn't be long now. I've had some start to zip and be out in less than an hour and others that have taken a couple of hours from start to finish.

By request, here is a pic of my little Lemon Cuckoo orp eggster...these were shipped eggs, and while they were double boxed and packed well, I received five broken eggs including this one that had a crack in it. This one went into the incubator and after three days seemed to still be hanging tough, so I decided to try and seal the crack to see if I could give it a little more time. I had read on BYC that nail polish might work but I didn't have any clear polish, so I used the only color available, PURPLE. This little guy was named 'Purple Rain' by a fellow BYC member.

Anyhow, here he is at day 7. Definitely not as developed as the others, and who knows what will happen from here on out, but I'm pretty amazed that we got this far
