I hope yours and my last egg will get a move on. Just one last egg to go for me. Do you ever take them out and candle them if they are the last one? I mean this is it's real due date.

By request, here is a pic of my little Lemon Cuckoo orp eggster...these were shipped eggs, and while they were double boxed and packed well, I received five broken eggs including this one that had a crack in it. This one went into the incubator and after three days seemed to still be hanging tough, so I decided to try and seal the crack to see if I could give it a little more time. I had read on BYC that nail polish might work but I didn't have any clear polish, so I used the only color available, PURPLE. This little guy was named 'Purple Rain' by a fellow BYC member.

Anyhow, here he is at day 7. Definitely not as developed as the others, and who knows what will happen from here on out, but I'm pretty amazed that we got this far

How cool. I so hope it makes it. What will you name it is it does??? Such a survivor!

So...I'm kind of ******.

I had 2 eggs left, one looked like it would hatch, the other looked like it gave out on day 11/12. I candled this morning, because we're officially day21, and there's nothing. No movement, no peeping, no pipping.

The chick inside the last egg still looks small. If you turn the egg, there is still a clear spot [in my past hatches, when it comes time for hatch day, you can't see through the egg.]

So bummed. These were supposed to be awesome eggs too!
Sorry to hear this...It is so sad.

Hi Gang! Well, after a family emergency - I had to drive 4 hours away, four hours there, and four hours back from the incubator, and a couple of days and nights without sleep....I had a few hatch

The one in front was the last born late last night and isn't quite all dry. I am leaving the incubator going, but I think they are done. Considering everything, I am happy with my babies.

I'll try to get some better pictures after I get some sleep!
So sweet and I hope and pray all is well with your family.

Kay ~ I want to see a picture of your blue silkie chick. I just hatched 6 chicks yesterday! Are these your eggs or did you buy them from someone?

1st question how do u upload pics 2nd question my chick seems abit tall for the incubator ? And second egg is moving and rocking more
If you want to reply to a certain post just hit the "quote" box and that will come up with your reply underneath it.
Load the pics on your computer. Then as you are writing your post to insert the picture click on the little picture that the arrow is pointing to in the picture below:

a screen will pop up and then you click on upload files.

2) Don't worry about the tallness of the chick. You want them dry before you take them out of the bator. You also don't want to open the bator until everyone is done hatching.
