Brookhaven i have seen those pens with PVC.. on here How do bend the pvc? What diameter do you use.? Do you use hard ware clothy and is there a coop or just the run?Why not sketch them out and then scan them into your computer and send them as an attachment in an email. Much faster that way. I built a simple run out of 2x4's for the base and then attached 10' pvc as arches. Laid the wire over the pvc and nailed it in. The run itself is 6' x 15' and I am able to move it all over the place.Very simple and easy to make. It is great as a grow out pen. My 7 week old chicks love it.
She said that there is a door on the back side of the run. There is also a door on the back side of the coop for collecting eggs and cleaning. The one thing she did say is that she wishes she would have made one of the panels in the front of the run lift open so she had easier access to the chickens. I didn't see any roosts either but I am sure they would be easy enough to put in there. I noticed no ventilation either. Would definitely put something along the top for that.To close the coop up at night she pulls the ramp up to close off the bottom.I looked at those tractors too Brookhaven. Nice and simple plan.
KUDOS to her for making all 3 and so very nicely too.
I like the nest box ... and in 2 days HOW??? Holy cow???FAST.Took me a week to do ONE run and tractor and i dont have a nest box
.Like her idea to fit it in the end
BUT>>>>>I think she need these things...
roosts
or does she have silkies? Some one told me they dont sit on a roost
.My 5 and 6 week old chickens sit on them all the time..
A door
She has hardware cloth everyplace but the floor of the run i dont think or dont see a DOOR on the floor of the run. so how does she close it up at night.?
What if something digs into the run?
No windows for air circulation.
i read on BYC chickens get lung infections easily and need PLENTY of air more than being warm which they are ok with some cool or even cold so wonder why she doesnt have some plan for air circulation or maybe she does and we cant see it.?
maybe a vent someplace Or maybe she will do all these things later.
I do like how she opens it up. too.

thats all i need.... Encouragement.....NOT.
MyEnggglish Mastiff (175 lbs) is getting artifically inseminated by my male next week and then puppies in 63 days ...last time she had 12 and i was running my rear off for the next 8 weeks with NO CHICKENS.... until they left.. and now i have 22!!!!
.LOTS of work barely had time to literally pull my pants up much less take care of baby chicks too..It would be disastorous to get more egg now now. I need to be conservative here (and THATs hard for me) WAAAH![]()
Oh ok ...pulls the ramp up . Looks like she uses 2.x 2s or does she ?...but still seems heavy for sitting on the run .She said that there is a door on the back side of the run. There is also a door on the back side of the coop for collecting eggs and cleaning. The one thing she did say is that she wishes she would have made one of the panels in the front of the run lift open so she had easier access to the chickens.
