hi everyone well i need some help pleaseeeeeeeeeee

i need to know what colour you think my new chicks will be i bought mixed eggs , white , gold , black and blue so i have realised they are not black but can anyone help ???

They look just like mine colour wise they could be all white

the only reason i ask was the one that passed away was a blue silkie and it was the same colour

I've just had a look on the net all the other colours come out the egg the colour it's going to be
So not sure Hun think u will have to wait and see

ya i looked to but that blue one was yellow ish the same , below is blue before he / she passed away . he / she was just pushing back and falling back all the time . i know he / she deffo blue because lady only had blue who i bought eggs from , thats why im confussed .

So sorry to hear about your little chick passing. These are the ones that cause so much heartbreak. When an egg doesn't hatch is one thing but to actually see the little guy pip, zip and then hatch and then struggle to live it just breaks our hearts. You are not mad you have just caught the "fever"...LOL. I am setting a new batch this Thursday or Friday so looks like I will be joining you.

I am wondering if either of the parent birds had white or buff colored parents. Genetics are not my strong point but I thought that blues were born a silver/blue color.
