The second duck egg was partially shrinkwrapped, so I helped it along by chipping off sme of the shell, taking off the dry, hard outer membrane and moistening the inner. The bator is holding at 70%, so I stuck it back in there, and it managed to get the rest of the way out. I haven't taken a photo yet. The first duck is currently in a box in the kitchen, lol.

There is a third egg in there too. I hope it isn't shrinkwrapped.

Ducks stress me out more than chicks!

All 3 babies doing well, the smallest onw had problems standing up the first 2 days, then when it did it kept falling backwards BUThe/she seems to be staying upright all the time now and is getting around ok. It's still small compared to the other 2 but that just makes it even cuter, lol!

So glad the "little guy" is doing good. Maybe some Poly-vi-sol in the water for some extra umph?

WOW how nice that you saved that duck. I need to watch a video on how to do this so I can be prepared if it happened. Congrats.

cant wait cindy 6 due and all look ok yesterday when candled

8 due on 21st , 6 due on 25th and have 12 to set then thats it for the year

Yesterday's duckling looks great. And the third egg might hatch. I thought I heard a peep when I looked for pips this morning. We can only hope.

i got 20 eggs going on lockdown tomorrow morning some are seramas from crazypetlady some from bhep and some from my hens...

would it hurt to put them on lockdown tonight around 12:30am sense tomorrow is the day and their due on the 12th????
