Here we go again - I'm hatching more goslings!!

Chikn that's big change the gosling has turned some more since I last saw.


Woke up to the three internals now externally pipped, still waiting for two more to join through internal, and my out the side hatch is going strong. Should see goslings tomorrow and Monday.

Have a good day all, time to fix breakfast, pull ducklings and chicks for customers and get ready to open.. Then it's hours of "no we do not do tours, no you can not sex the chicks, no the ducklings are sold in straight run"

I'm glad to see he is still trying! Is it just me, or is that paper towel kind of dried out?

I told that to some of my customers and they came back with this question.....

Still no external pip yet. Today is the second day of being internally pipped so hopefully it will happen soon! It seems like the egg movement has slowed from yesterday.

Chikn!! I see great progress!!! The baby has pulled its head back in... and there is more space inside the egg. Give it time... keep up with those updates and if all goes well, that baby will be out before the end of the day!!!!!

I keep watching hoping to see the glorious moment of the first little hole made!! It's peeping a bunch, and peeps in response to being talked to. I said I wasn't going to get attached until it hatched, but...

I'm in love!! lol


btw, I paid for my eggs from Erijn, so I'll be hatching with you!! I found a listing on Ebay for 3 giant dewlap toulouse and sebbie eggs I'm thinking about bidding on. How neat to not know what you will have until they hatch, but know that it's going to be one or both of the 2 breeds you want!

We get a pair of Canada geese in our pond every year until they begin to lay, then they go somewhere else. You should have seen my geese the first time the Canada geese landed. They were like.. ...wth!!
