Goosed.... look for movement in the baby and if the dark shadows have no movement. That is a sign of possible shrinkwrap.

I can't get any pics to turn out. It's too dark in the egg

The one before this had some shrink wrap, so it's possible this one does too. We have had really dry weather up until today when it rained, and it's wreaked havoc on humidity levels! The egg isn't rocking around or moving much. Just barely vibrating. The baby inside is pulsing like from breathing, but not moving around

I'm here... but fielding work calls in between working on getting my last 2 babies out (they are zipping now).

Yep! It's a shrinky dink. The beak couldnt penetrate the membrane. I made a small opening so now it can get fresh air. Moisted membrane with qtip and raised humidity in bator. This baby surely would have died! Thanks Iain!!

As soon as I opened the membrane it gave out the loudest peep! I could see the beak trying so hard to get through but just couldn't
