Here we go again - I'm hatching more goslings!!

Based on this last picture.... chip a TEENY more to the right then towards your day 26 line to completely expose bill. Then, make sure the inner membrane is not covering his nares (nose holes), give it a spray with warm water, then put back in bator. It looks like he should hatch fine on his own.

Okay....did it. Will he be okay until he hatches.....what if he gets dried out tonight??
He won't. I've done this like a dozen times this month, it'll be ok. ONce I start helping, I always end up being commited to the assist. I'd leave it in, and not remove more shell, until late tomarrow. If you let him get out too soon, even though others are ready, he may still need to absorb the yolk. Just spritz him and you'll be golden until tomarrow.

Okay......thanks for that....I am stalking this thread refreshing every thirty seconds......

Do I spray him numerous times? Every hour? Just before I go to bed?

Bring your humidity back up to 80%. Place your book back on top. He should be fine until the morning without spritzing again.

Whew.....okay! Thanks you guys!

I forgot to get another heat lamp today.....I have three ducklings in a bator....can I put them in with the goslings for tonight? I have been searching this forum and it sounds like they will be okay.....right?

Okay.....my humidity has been staying pretty high....will go look right now, but no more spraying.....just leave him?

SOOOOO glad I opened the shell......thanks SO much.

Just leave him.
