Here we go again - I'm hatching more goslings!!

Iain, glad you liked them. Yours will be hatching soon enough. That ship has sailed on the other box of Toulouse eggs, I know we won't ever see any.

Marty that is too funny. And the Sebbie forum is for people wanting to low more, so come onover.

Ok anyone want 3-4 utility African eggs? Pay shipping and they are yours. Or they get scrambled for the dogs, which is Aok too.

day 31, Squishy hatched day 32 so here's hoping they will follow big brothers lead.

I have the following set:

3 grey utility toulouse and 2 african doing well on day 19.

Erin's toulouse eggs are on day 6. One has pretty spider. One is really trying to show me veining. One is seriously doubtful and the last is definitely not happening.

The 4 buff dewlaps are on day 3.

How can you tell if they are trying? Remember, I was kinda old school, and only candled on the 14th day untill I got caught up with the hatch day peeps. Now, I'm candling a lot.

I'm also wondering about my funky eggs. Lets both post a pic of one of our funky eggs, top and bottem lite, so we can compare notes. Want to?

By trying I mean there is a dark redder ring around the center and the yellow fluid by air cell is getting a reddish tint. From what I can tell, eggs with detached air cells develop their spiders up high instead of in center.... and so there will be veining up there.

As for the day 24 cayuga duck eggs with fluid... I will try to take picture this evening when I am scheduled to open bator to turn eggs next. Not sure if they will be any good, though, as the eggs are dark brown.
