You've got a lovely selection there in the breeds list

Best of luck with all your eggs

The eggs I started on 2/24 weighed as follows: 150g, 145g, 125g, 193g, 161.5g, 156g, 122g, 136g, 161.5g. I also have another batch I started on 2/22 and I have 12 of my own goose eggs in that batch. My avatar is a brown chinese that was hatched on 2-20-12 and s/he is now 10 days old and has grown so much. I have five eggs that I am hoping to hatch out in three more days. One is faintly clicking this morning but I can't tell if he has internally piped by candling him this morning so I will candle him later today. The babies are so cute.

A goose hatch-a-long. Perfect I'm in!

I found a breeder with very nice Buff Poms and purchased 8 eggs (I need mates for my 6 goslings). He shipped my eggs yesterday from N. Carolina, so I am hoping for a Saturday delivery.

Here are two of his trio.....NOTE...this photo belongs to Brandon @ Kawonu Farms!

Oh, and Celtic sorry to hear about your Pom eggs being broken. I hope the seller replaces them for you!
I only have one more person on my wait list ahead of you. My goose laid his first egg yesterday and I hope to get his last egg by mid-week next week. We have had two 80 degree days this week, so my fingers are crossed that Mrs. Goose does not close-up shop for the season before your order!

Sounds like you can confirm internal pipping there LittleDear now you've heard the 'clicking' sound of respiration. Best of luck with all your eggs and nice to see you've got your weights recorded so you can aim for an approx 16% weight loss

Pete55- Yes, I am very excited. I hatched out six goslings from my pair in January....here is a picture of four of the six taken two days ago.

They range in age from 7 weeks down to 5 weeks. Hopefully, between the eggs I am receiving and some goslings I am ordering, I will be able to get mates for these little guys.

Thanks Pete, this is my first time actually recording weights all the way through.:) I have monitored air cells only prior.

Mrs Magoo..... Nice birds, thanks for the update, we hope she keeps laying too. The grey SB seller sent me an email saying they will make right on them.

Wow guys! The list of peeps joining this thread is getting long. I'm going to have a hard time keeping track of everyone and their eggs!

Best of luck that we all have healthy hatches!

Awesome Celtic: I am happy the seller is replacing the eggs for you. BTW, the fellow I got my eggs from has some available and possibly some goslings too. His geese just started laying a couple weeks ago and his goose has won a few shows!
