Thats what im thinking on the wazine.
I am not adding ACV to their water.....
But will give that a shot and try the strike111 and albendazole.
On the coccidia.....i have read that Corid only treats 3 forms of coccidia. And there are 9 that affect chickens.
Should i switch from the coccidistat (corid) to a broad spectrum coccidial?

I'm sorry you're going through this. I recommend using organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar that contains the "Mother". When my hens were sick, I treated them with copper sulfate and ACV. They had lose/runny poop for a while until they had vinegar. The copper sulfate is for fungal infections. The vinegar will help your hens guts reproduce their good bacteria. My girls love it.

I know your pain! So sorry you are going through this. Unfortunately I have lost almost a whole flock to these same symptoms. That being said, there is somewhat of a cure but my advice would be to only let the chickens that are resistant to this disease live that way hopefully their offspring will be as well.

I searched for answers such as you for months! I was at a loss since it was not Mareks. What I found was in my chickens run some hay had gotten in the outdoor part, got wet, molded and that is when this disease manifested. My research showed that it was mycotoxins that poisoned my chickens. The moldy hay allowed growth and then started the conditions. Research mycotoxins and there are cures but they did not work for me since mine was so far gone.

As for Corid only treating three strains, I haven't read that. Where did you see that?

Sulmet treats two strains of chicken coccidiosis and two strains of turkey coccidiosis, so maybe that's where the confusion came from, but to the best of my knowledge, Corid can treat more than 3 strains. Of course I'm always interested in learning, so,if anyone comes across any info about Corid resistance, please do share that info.

Then maybe that is why Sulmet has never worked for me??? My chickens had the wrong coccidia????? Oh my!

Wazine will treat a large percentage of just large roundworms, but that's only if they drink enough medicated water. Probably best to try Safeguard at 0.23ml per pound for five consecutive days. That dose will treat large roundworms, cecal worms, gapeworms, capillary worms and possibly some species of tapeworms.

oh my goodness. I lost another hen! So i go to the feed store buy Ivermectin and Duramicyn and to my suprise i find 2 of my pretty rooster boys with fowl pox!
When does it ever stop? I bought the fowl pox vaccine over 60 days ago but the feed store had no applicators. I finally found some that got here on the 30th of December. But because of the other issues i have been hesitant to use it in fear of over stressing them.
Who ever thought raising chickens was a good idea?

unless the Meark veterinary manual is fallicy which states that Aprolium (corid) has and i quote! " poor activity against some Eimeria spp and that the addition of folic acids to the amprolium should be made to help kill those resitant Eimeria spp (coccidia) go search the Mearks veterinary handbook "an overview of poultry coccidiosis" all the way to the bottom of the page past the list of coccidials and coccidiastats and under Amprolium you will find what i am quoting. So maybe i and others are not spreading a fallsy as you state. In fact i was meerly asking another person ther view when you claimed others are spreading fallsy.

Im still looking to find where i read the list of 3 it killed. And its not a fallsy as one person stated i can read and read well. Its clear.
I read a million articals on clinical findings on cocci and dont remember where i seen it. But believe me i wont stop till i find to prove I'm right to someone who claims im spreading fallsy when i only asked your advice.

I know that some coccidia are can be restistant to amprolium, but I have also read lots of veterinary books, studies, etc. and have not seen any reference to amprolium's effectiveness being limited to three strains. Please do find that reference for us.

Did it say three chicken strains? What about turkey, duck, peafowl, dog, cat, goat, cow etc?
