Boy they are sure taking their own sweet time.

second chick hatched and perfect! Two silkie eggs left in the bator waiting to do their thing! Both the new guys/gals are black. Hey JJ..one of the new ones is black but has a white chest and chin area about the size of a nickle...what do you reckon that means colour wise? Could this little one be a cuckoo?

sweet!!!! No sign of movement from the other two eggs yet...today is the day 23...i figured i would give them another day or two.

well here i am home at 2pm and no action from the final two silkie eggs. Sucks because the 4 that did hatch are absolutely beautiful. We have 1 all white, 2 all black and 1 which is black/grey with a white chest/chin. All have 5 toes and all the toes are separate which i read is supposed to be good.

What do you all think i should do with the other 2 silkie eggs? Since the BLP are hatching nowish i thought there would be no harm in just leaving the silkie eggs in there til the blp have finished.

Of note one of the BL polish eggs has pipped since this morning and they are not due until tomorrow!

so now have 2 BLP out of their eggs..and one more is half zipped! Nothing from the last two silkie eggs.
