Yes i was planning to get 3 but you all know how that works out when faced with all those fuzzy little butts lol... I plan on letting them free range most of the day but that coop definitely is way smaller than I thought. It was advertised for 4 large chickens or 6 bantams but I think even that was a stretch
Seems like online vendors are always over generous with the description and make it look like a 3 chicken coop could easily house 7 chickens... I want a peaceful flock so I'm going to try to give them as much space as I can in my tiny yard. Your chicks are so cute! What breeds did you pick?

If they are free-ranging all day, that coop would work fine. If not, you could get a large run extension rather than a whole new coop.

Yes I realize the mistake now but I'm going to have to just do a renovation to make more space. Than save up for a bigger coop all together.
I got 2 silver laced wyandottes 2 double laced barnevelders and 1 golden lace polish. The wyandottes are becoming fast favorites. They are so sweet and friendly.
