Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Tonight, Pa/Sourland is making Hungarian sweet and sour cabbage, potatoe and sauerkraut pierogies, and breaded maple pork loin slices.

I actually staarted salivating as I typed that - talk about Pavlov and his dogs.

Tonight I made a corned beef eye round roast, cabbage, and mashed potatoes. It was the best corned beef this old man has ever eaten.

I'm looking forward to sourdough corned beef sandwiches for lunch tomorrow.

I'm doing a Boston Butt Pork Roast, smoked for 1 hour to give it a somewhat smokey taste, then going to let it cook on the stove top for several hours. I'm going to try sweet potato latkas, chopped fresh tomatoes baked with bread crumbs & cheese, and mixed veggies.

Sundays are usually my day for experimenting with new recipes. If they don't work out, there's always a lot of restaurants to choose from!

Oh, almost forgot, some homemade bread rolls from this site: http://divascancook.com/2011/12/homemade-yeast-rolls-recipe.html. Been wanting to make these for a while, so today's the day!
