Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Have been busy but still have to eat so over the past few days. Shepard's Pie, Tuna and Noddle casserole, and tacos. All simple since there was just too much going on.

Taking tomorrow off to get ready for Thanksgiving, making stuffing, dinner rolls and bread just for the heck of it. Also, going to make some Cranberry Chutney too!!

Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving and eat lots!!

Thanksgiving menu: 15 # turkey, 9 # ham, inside outside baked potatoes, stuffing, mushrooms in brown gravy, green beans, cauliflower, sweet potatoe casserole. (Forgot to buy a rutabaga:he) Pumpkin pie, chocolate pudding pie, apple crisp for dessert. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Golden Chicken rolls (chicken breast, ham and swiss) with mushroom sauce; leftover green bean casserole; Artisian bread, salad w/ leftover turkey.

Yesterday we had just plain cold turkey sandwiches w/ butter and salt, and leftover pie. No, wait, that was two nights ago...last night we had our second Thanksgiving at my brother's....more turkey, ham, and all the fixins!

I gained four pounds over Halloween...how much am I gonna gain over Tday? Acckk!

Fish Chowder last night. One of those times when the stars were lined up right and it tasted really good, and yet you didn't make enough.

We made french dips w/au jus last night. From beef we raised. I used a sirloin roast. It was really good!

The other night I made chili using plain Kroger chili mix, and ground beef, but I added fresh smoked
sausage and wow, did that make a difference! Was the best chili I've ever made. We had Hawaiian rolls, too.

Last night, pea soup with ham and carrots. I couldn't find spetzels(sp). I am going to look into making them.
