Oh my gosh Dreamy!!! Look, the Parson's wife cooks alot like Prissy ...and she has invited us over!!! Get Feathers and let's go!!!!!! I love black eyed peas and home made macaroni!! Fix us a plate PW!!!

Tonight was the BIG one for supper!

Grilled Steak = so good: Has been a long time coming.
Small baked potato: and I do mean small. Seed potato, mabey?

Cesar Salad
Hot rolls
Cold 'Sweet Milk'

No time to make corn casserol today. Gotta do something about that.

I can tell you what is for breakfast, grandpa!
Bacon, pancakes, scrambled eggs and O.J. & hot tea for me ( my husband likes coffee and I like hot sweet tea in the mornings after eating)

My Pancake recipe....it's just add and mix till you like it...
starts with

2 cups flour (self-rising)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sugar
1 egg
1 tblsp of shortening, melted (yes, you can use oil. I like shortening)
1/2 cup Milk

Mix ingredients. Add milk & or flour till you get the consistency that makes you happy.

*Don't flip your pancake till the bubbles slow down*

My husband loves Johnnie Fair Syrup on his pancakes

Ya'll come anytime....I'll add an extra plate at the table.

Amen! Johnnie Fair syrup is as old as dirt and by far the best. Especially on "Three Little Pigs" sausage and some cat head biscuits.

Ummmm, Yogi? Can me and Feathers and Dreamer come over for supper tomorrow? Oh, and fix a plate for the Parson's Wife and Prissy too...one of them will drive and the rest of us will be laughin and singin to the radio

We aren't picky either, we will eat what ever you fix (well, no alligator) but anything else!!!

well, maybe we need to rent a van and pick up Brahma and Cheryl too, don't want to leave anyone out..got enough chairs Yogibear?!
