Sorry to quote myself but had to brag that I didn't do breakfast. I made Asian shrimp lettuce wraps with teriyaki noodles with edameme.

Oooh, I want to eat at your house!

Let me know when you're coming, 'cause it's not always like that. But not bad for rushing out to Open House at our son's school, huh?

You got it. I'd love to visit anyone with a "Peep" avatar!

Fall cleaning turns up some wonderful missing items!

I "re-discovered" my elusive gnocchi board the other day, so tonight was butternut squash (from the garden) gnocchi in a browned butter sage sauce, a tossed green salad and crusty Italian bread.

I made the Chicken and Dumpling recipe I got from sred98. My family loved it! Hubby even said the dumplings were as good as Moms! Tonight is fajitas. It is hubbys friday so it might be Margaritas for dessert!!

Tonight is wonton dumpling soup with chives out of the cookbook Recipes From the Garden by Rosalind Creasy. Yum! I am using some oyster and chicken mushrooms that we found on our property instead of white buttons.

Happyhen - Will you adopt me? Pretty please?

I love browned butter. Somewhere around here, I have the recipe for Spaghetti Factory's Spaghetti with Browned Butter and Mizithra Cheese. Delish!

Tonight is simple - grilled burgers, BBQ beans, and buttered corn.

If I get motivated I'm going to make Happyhen's Apples Foster for dessert. That is, if there's still ice-cream in the freezer.

HH that sounds awesome!
We had a sweet potato roulade that was filled with a ricotta, yogurt, scallion and hazelnut filling, and a huge green salad with everything I could chop up from the veggie drawer.

OOO, last night we went out ot my favorite Italian restaurant and had their wood fired oven pizza. It was cheese, prosciutto ham, artichoke hearts, green onions, garlic butter, no tomato sauce. It was heavenly.

Also, fried calamari and dessert was turtle cheesecake (this time not snapper).

and a dark German beer.

Back at my favorite Italian restaurant with my in-law's and DH for his birthday dinner. FIL ordered THREE appetizers, Oysters Rockefeller, sautteed 'shrooms, and mussels in butter.

I had veal marsala, DH and his mom had the seafood bake which was puff pastry loaded with seafood in a cream sauce, his dad, after ordering us all that food had a salad.

There was also bread, shrimp chowder and red wine and sides of spaghetti. We took a lot of doggie bags home.

I feel like I am going to explode.
