hey I have a question about my pigeons

so I bought two fantail pigeons they are partners after two weeks the male and female mated she layed to eggs and she's brooding them does it take 15 days like messenger pigeons? or does it take more? cuz I counted and they were due Saturday but I see no cracks or anything what should I do?
18 days. Ya pronto!:thumbsup
Usually pigeons are very good parents and you will not have to do anything. I do take a peek at the babies early on to be sure they are fed and thriving.

For me 19 days seems to be the magic number.

I have had them hatched at 23+-. Check on your squabs often and be on the look out for a condition called spayed leg. My solution is an elastic band and 2 zip ties to bind the two legs together. It seem to happen to every pigeon fancier from time to time. If not caught with in the first 2 weeks it could lead to the squab being culled.

For me it was also 19 days.
One time had 2 hatched at same time (same parents) with spayed legs. Caught it early, and TRIED EVERYTHING. No success.:hit

I’ve never had birds which have had spayed legs. But I have had some which have wonky toes and feet.
