Thanks so much!! I've been super busy here and haven't had much time to work on the page... hopefully this evening.

i got this email from this person i told them if they wanted to work on milli cochins i would not use the rooster they want to use he looks to me like he has alot of d'uccle in him i guess they can get eggs from the other gal lol see what you guys think

I was wondering if you sell any eggs from your mille fleur cochins, if I understood right you are working on some. I have a rooster that I'd like to get some hens from. I've also got a name for another gal who's working on them

I would bet that it's not too far off from D'uccle, probably one generation or so. I wouldn't want to use it. They should try and find some from someone else. There's plenty of us out here breeding much better birds now.

I shouldn't know a typey pekin/cochin bantam if it bit me, but the bird in question appears to be lacking a columbian gene. Still, I expect the chap will be grateful if you all give him help & advice.

He contacted me too. I told him I thought the bird was pretty but wasn't sure where it would get him... didn't even think to mention the d'uccleness

I suggested he purchase some eggs from Lynne or Tate to get himself a jump on his project.

Here are my two little cockerels. They came from Ralph ("Tate"), and they are now 14 weeks old. At this point, they look fairly different from each other, but I'm a neophyte when it comes to breeding and standards and don't know what exactly to look for.

I do know that they have great personalities and are fantastic pets!
