Hey there

If the skin is intact-no bleeding-cuts and so forth I will observe for a day or so to make sure the other birds are not pecking at the bald areas. As for the droopy wings-the duck may have suffered spinal trauma and the resulting swelling is impinging on the nerve that controls a certain part of the wing function. If you are so inclined take her to an avian vet for radiographs and treatment. Otherwise keep her quiet and observe for a few days. You are correct that muscle pain may be causing her to her posture. Some folks will prescribe aspirin and so forth but I usually recommend rest and leave the prescribing up to the veterinarian. Good luck! And keep the pup away from the fowl!
If spinal trauma was the case and it's just swollen, do you think that will go down by itself? I would like to hope it's just muscle pain which will go away on it's own without any veterinary treatment needed. I won't give her any medications as I'm not hugely knowledgeable in the avian field. She's been inside for the past day and she has pulled out of shock pretty well. It didn't look like she was going to make it when i found her. She seems pretty chill at the moment and is enjoying the tv haha. I just wanted to double check everything. Better safe than sorry.
Thank you so much

Thank you all so much. She's currently inside and seems to be doing pretty well. Hopefully her wings are just muscle pain and nothing too serious

Welcome!

As you have already received some good advice, I will just wish you all the best.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Sounds like you are doing the right thing. If she is eating and pooping I think she'll be okay. However if the paralysis seems to be getting worse she needs professional help.
