Why did you rehome the first flock?

We had to rehome the first flock because we thought we were going to have to sell our house, so we couldn't keep them on our property, and we had to take down the hand-made chicken coop to raise the property value. Luckily, we did not have to sell the house, and also luckily, the person they went to was an experienced poultry raiser who let their chickens and ducks free range, so they went to a good home.
