I live in northern California, mendocino county. Brand new to chickens and ducks.
I have 4 female, 1 male duck.8 polish hens, and 1 pair of Norwegian-jaerhon 6 mos old, separated in a dog transporter for now, because my 5x10 coup seems to be crowded and maybe the rooster in small area will cause problems. The ducks are harassing the chickens. Thinking of a 50x50 run eletrical perimeter (daughter has issues with electrical for animal psychology fear)with netting for birds. It's predator city here. FORGEDABOUDIT!
So far the help is awesome and much appreciated.
