This is one of our peahens and her eye has been like this for about a week now. I've put her ointment for respiratory problems and doesn't seems to help. Any suggestions what can cause that?

Unfortunately, this is common in peafowl and once the infection gets this big they require surgery to remove the pus. Is a vet an option? If so, a vet would be best, but these can be done by non-vet people too.
