You have quite a lovely assortment in your flock! I don't have a job that pertains to chickens, but I think BYC was just as helpful for me too. Thanks to all the folks willing to share their knowledge!

When I first signed up here in early 2016, I knew almost nothing about chickens and I was starting a new job at a family owned feed store that sold LOTS of chicks/chickens all year round. Three years later after lots of forum lurking, I'm now THE chicken educator at the store! I do chicken workshops around the county, and I volunteer at a pet hospital that treats chickens! And it was all possible thanks to this comunity's knowledge!

I currently have a Buckeye hen (Sunshine), a black Sex-link hen (Patches), 2 Easter Egger hens (Shy and Noah), a Buff Orpington hen (Peanut Butt), a Blue Maran hen (Maggie), 2 light brahma pullets (Pengu and Cream Puff), a Sicilian Buttercup pullet (Chitara), a Black Copper Maran pullet (Lola), an Olive Egger pullet (Hawkeye), a frizzled bantam Cochin pullet (Baby), and a silver spangled apfenzeller spitzhauben pullet (Rufio)! Oh, and coturnix quail on the way!
