I recommend getting a separate hygrometer/ thermometer, because incubator readings can sometimes be wrong and you don't want your first hatch to be affected by bad humidity or uneven heat. I would put these implements in the corner, or otherwise opposite the incubator's probe, to ensure you don't have a cold spot. you should also note that eggs can be set sideways, or pointy part down, but NEVER pointy part up.(it can make the air cell develop wrong if they are stored or set in that way, leading to lower hatch rates and chicks who are more likely to need help hatching.)
