(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am relatively new to raising chickens though my best friend has had them for over thirty years so I feel like I've learned a lot in the past six months or so that I've been raising them. All of my birds have been raised from 2-3 days old. I love them. I'm raising them for their eggs.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I currently have six.

(3) What breeds do you have? I have a Buff Orpington Hen (Penny was our first chicken), Cuckoo Maran Cross Rooster (Mister Fancy Pants), Plymouth Barred Rock Rooster (Lanky Fred), A black sex link hen (I think?) (RePecka aka Pex), Reda Jpanese Bantam Frizzle Rooster (Rupert), and HeiHei our Bantam Frazzle (she's "special")

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I love how interesting they are and how absurdly affectionate Roosters turned out to be to me. I love their empathy and social habits.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I have ducks, I'm a mom of 4 (not a 'hobby' but keeps me busy) I am a dancer. I read a LOT, thinking about stuff, I like to watch movies, studying numerology, astrology and palmistry rn

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I'm a professional psychic tarot and oracle card reader. I am a witch and practice ecstatic magick. I have a telepathic connection with my animals. I live in East Texas and I am married to a trans woman and I am an ex Christian lesbian. Lol I'm like the nicest person you'll ever meet in your life even though I'm totally crazy hahaha



(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I found it through Google. I wanted to join because everyone here seems nice and super knowledgeable!
