Hi y’all! We have a little hobby farm out in East Texas. We are working with chickens, ducks, and quail.
In the chicken pens we have Marans (BCM, splash, and breeding for blue), EEs, Wyandotte’s, and a few other colorful egg layers. (I’m kind of a doofus for pretty eggs). Our duck breeding barn revolves primarily around conservation, and we are working with Magpie, Silver Appleyards, and Welsh Harlequins.
The quail give meat, eggs, and we are working on some color projects with them as well.
Can’t wait to learn from everyone here! We have our first batch of eggs going into lockdown at 11AM tomorrow and I’m beside myself, if anyone would like to help me (virtually) hyperventilate into a (virtual) paper bag! Hahaha

Thanks y’all! Quick question: am I thinking about this right? The eggs went in the ‘bator June 20 @ 11 AM, so day 26 would begin tomorrow at 11 AM, yes? And that’s when I would stop turning and raise humidity?
