we used to feed chewing tobacco to our goats .
they loved it . and it did a job on the worms.

raw tobacco is not that bad for a chicken.
back in the olden days, a lot of people smoked and tossed the butts on the ground. the chickens cleaned up after them and none of died from it.
that little bit of filter isn't going to hurt either.

just don't give the rooster any matches..
