A shadow dog of Eris lunged at carrow.

Caroline got morgana to get of and morgana ran to Carrow side, knocking the dog down,"help me beat it to death!"she screamed,but a smile on her face.

Arbus laughed at Jackie's efforts. "If I was you, I'd conserve my energy. You're going to be here a while."

Once Morgana killed the dog, Carrow grabbed her arm that was bleeding substantially. She tore off a strip of her shirt and tied it around her arm just above the elbow, to slow the bleeding.

Morgana rushed over to a stump and grabbed at handful of cobwebs and took the cloth of of carrow arm and put them on it.

Arbus turned and left the cavern and transported back to the barn battle. He was easily bored, but felt obligated to continue to help Owla and Erica. He sent a pulse spell that sent their enemies to the ground, as he trotted over. He hunched over and growled deeply at Owla's attackers.

Carrow tried to object, but wasn't fast enough, when Morgana put the cobwebs on her shredded arm. She bit back a cry of pain and fought through the worst of it. She gritted her teeth and stood up to fight again.

Xatia looked back to Xavier and scoffed, "The others don't seem to have that problem. I guess it comes down to a question of breeding and manners." She said with annoyance.

Xavier stilled as he realized Shaylee had given him back his voice. He cleared his throat softly, as he looked to the table top and his bound hands. "Perhaps it's more the issue of them being around exotics and mythicals from birth. I myself, am limited in my experience with such. I do apologize for staring...you are all so strikingly beautiful snd I've never seen the like." He explained quietly. He glanced over to Shaylee timidly and said, "I was rude to you and I'm also sorry. I'm not used to being the one out matched and out of my element. I shall try to remember my manners. " He looked back to Xatia when he said the last word, for emphasis.

Maxton nodded and turned to face Aurora more fully. "So are dragon talents inherent of their parents or are they completely random. For instance what talents did you daughter and her...what is word?" He was given the word mentally, "Oh, yes, doppelganger. What did they gain from you or perhaps her father?" He inquired curiously.

Aeval looked down at her glass. She knew Aurora didn’t like speaking of her mate. It was a secret of some sort.

Zypher chuckled softly as he rubbed Anna's arm. "We are to find out what he knows of this Pariah and Menagerie. We should probably get to making a cell for Xavier. We also need to try our signal booster. Find out if it indeed works. I think Jason will like to hear about our small victory. " He said with enthusiasm.

Orson laughed in her mind, "You're only saying that so I won't notice you drying yourself upon me." He said with teasingly, as he nuzzled her thick silken mane in return. Not minding in the least.

Shaylee nodded and retook her seat, settling for trying the cheese and crackers. "Apology accepted." She said simply. She watched him and the way he kept looking at Xatia.

"Dragons are so mixed these days that any one can hatch out any kind. It was not always that way, dragons used to breed true to type, according to the stories." A light shrug accompanied that "Such things were before we came to Earth. My mate..." She paused and shook some thought away "My mate and I bred true before my last hatching and his death. We were both water dragon and fey and so were the hatchlings we had together." She said then paused again and looked to Maxton. "There has always been a golden queen to rule over all dragons, the only dragon to have the golden scales in all of our kind. She can be hatched to any female, though if you study the histories, it is most often to older females. My Estelle is that queen for this generation. I cannot tell how Elle will change things simply by existing now. There has never been two gold dragons before."

Anna nodded and sighed, leaning against his side again and taking in his scent :One cup of coffee is not going to be enough for all of that." She said softly then smiled again "Jason will be glad of that, and to see his Luce again."

Kristen grinned and stepped back to shake herself again "Oh, was I still wet?" She asked teasingly then bolted for the cave, laughing merrily along the way.

Maxton spoke in fey with his astonishment. "Aurora, if I'm not too bold in asking, but I would offer a solution. Here on earth you have two gold dragoness. But in Anstopfia, in all our histories, there has never been a golden dragon queen. You're daughters could rule simultaneously in both realms. Our dragon clans are at odds most of the time. She could be a harmonizing factor for them." He stated simply.

Zypher nodded and smiled. " But my dear, you have a whole pack that can do such things. You needn't do them yourself. The hyenas are chomping at the bit to prove themselves and please you." He reminded gently.

Orson twirled uncontrollably at Kristen retreat into the cave. He waited only a moment, before he bounded after her. He was filled with urgent longing. His love, his mate, his heart.

"Hey, this is what you get for not enough sleep" She teased then nodded and sighed "Yes, if you think that will give them the purpose they want, we can have the hyenas do those jobs, though I think they are doing pretty good with security already"

Shaylee simply watched the pair curiously as she enjoyed the small snack and juice. Gently she moved the extra cup over to Xavier's hand before touching the rope to release him so he could drink.

She said with a frown as she thought about all of this. "She would have to learn so much to rule over fey dragons, beginning with the language."

Xavier looked to Shaylee confused for a moment and then disbelief. "Thank you." He whispered softly as he took the offered beverage. He sipped it gratefully. He closed his eyes at the welcomed taste.

Shaylee glanced to Xatia then looked back to her drink as she savored the unusual fruit flavors. She had remembered that they had found the warlock pretty dehydrated in the void, and since he was temporarily her responsibility, she wanted to be certain he would be ready for whatever came next.

"It is a good suggestion, that would give them both what they need for what they are, the only thing would be learning about a realm I do not know about myself." She said then dipped her head. "I am frightened to think of my girl alone in a strange place."

Anna straightened a little and looked to Axis to let her know what they were planning and what they needed from the hyenas. She looked back to Zypher again when she was done. " Is that all?" She asked to be sure.
