Xatia calmly looked away from Xavier. She didn't didn't like villains playing the Martyr. She watched Kallen quietly, while Shaylee address Xavier.

Xavier tugged at his shirt collar and glared other at Xatia, before glancing to Shaylee again. "I do love him. It doesn't matter what any of you think. I know my heart. Black and shriveled as you may think it to be." He said with bitterness.

Maxton grinned and held his glass up in a toast. " To the mutual benefits of our future together, wherever the fates may take us." He said with conviction.

Aeval held her's up in mimic of his actions. Not knowing you were to touch each glass.

Zypher leaned over and did as Anna had done. It was so strange to him. But Navar was family already without the formalities. Once that was done, he asked, "So why are you not with Amar? "

Navar straightened and took a long sip of coffee as he sorted out his words. He then told the absolute truth of why he wanted to come back.

Shaylee sighed and shook her head "You have to understand where we come from on this. Amar is a lost princess of our kingdom. That you hurt her is a mark against you even without all the rest of this that has happened. Now from what I understand of all this, this Marcus is a bad man, but one who has given his freedom over to Pariah. I do not know if he could be saved even if we tried to."

Aurora smiled and held her glass up, lightly clinking it against the other two there. "To friends no matter where the future takes us." She added then took a sip. She looked to the door when Jason came in with his escort.

Jason looked over the gathering with a smile, waving to the ones he knew but going to his sister to greet her first.

Anna listened to Navar's story then looked to the door, standing to go and hug her brother tightly. She started to tell him all he had missed though she would have to shorten all the stories to not take too much time with them.

Bertram held Jackie happily in his lap as he listened quietly Sergio had curled up aginst his legs and dozed contentedly.

Jaxon looked over the gathering with trepidation. But his friend was with him.

Garth was enjoying himself out on the balcony. He looked over the railing down on the city below.

Arbus looked around this new environment a bit confused. But came to the realization that they'd been transported some distance.
