"Your son, this dragon Storm. Tell us about him" Shaylee asked, taking a sip of her drink then flicking a glance to Xatia and speaking privately to her "I saw that look, but you notice, now he is talking to us and in a far kinder manner. I am curious but his mind has blocks I do not want to break down right now."

Aurora nodded after thinking on that a minute. "I think that would be best. Both girls were meant to rule, it is their nature." She said then looked to Aeval and smiled again "You should certainly be there for that, learn the language of your people and perhaps find a way to find them. Being fey means you can learn more magic than just your dragon element."

Anna smiled and settled back, drinking her coffee until Jason arrived. She looked over to Aurora and wondered about the fey having such an interest in the deep sea dragon.
Xatia looked to Shaylee and smiled softly, "Just as I saw yours. But your methods are working to open him up. You have always had more patience than me." She spoke privately to her, before looking back to Xavier as he started speaking.
Xavier scrunched his face deep in thought and from barely contained emotions. "I had saved a infant dragon from a devastating blizzard. It had froze the two fire dragons solid. But they had huddled together to protect their infant son, using the last of the heat from their chilling bodies to keep him alive. But despite my efforts, I could not SparkLife back into their lifeless bodies. So honoring their sacrifice, I took the dragon infant and put him aginst my skin to warm him. Once I was sure he was going to make it, I was determined to raise him up. But that night when I was feeding him, something that I never expected to happen, did. He transform into an infant child. That's when I voted to love and care for him as if he was my own son. I name him Storm after the freak storm that had set our paths to cross that fateful night. But soon proved appropriate, when his powers turned to that of ice, not fire like his parents. Since then, he has been my faithful companion. We have made a great team, for Storm's intelligence is unparalleled and my powers were almost limitless. So we lived as nomads, never staying any place longer than a week or so. That's until one day, Markus approached us and made us an offer. A job, of jobs, with unlimited resources. Upon careful thought about the very interesting problem he wanted solved, I agreed to his terms." He looked to Sheylee and sighed softly, before continuing. "Markus wanted the original spell that created the shifters and the ability to harness the power to create more. With my son being a dragon shifter, I was motivated to help. For in our travels, we had yet to meet another dragon. I didn't want Storm to be alone after I was gone, nor would any other parent." He explained quietly. He then took another sip of juice. When he set the glass down again, he shook his head. "I solved the puzzle and recreated the spell from Amar's blood. But the betrayal and deceit occurred on both parts. He had no intention of ever letting us go, let alone making a dragon for my son. He enslaved him and imprisoned me." Xavier fell quiet as he spun the glass within his grasp.

Aeval smiled sheepishly, "King Racine granted me all knowledge of written and spoken languages. I was illiterate in all but Greek when I met him. But I don't know any spells and especially not fey customs. I would eagerly embraced that knowledge." Aeval said excitedly.
Maxton glanced to Aeval curiously, tilting his head, as he spoke softly in the fey tounge. "Language with out knowledge of culture, is not true enlightenment. It is an empty knowledge. Do you not agree?"
Aeval frowned in thought and the nodded, then said back in fey, "But it is a start on a long road to find it."
Maxton grinned widely at her answer. He looked to Aurora, not wanting to be rude and translated their words for her.

Navar had got up to get the pot of coffee and reached over the couch to fill both their mugs. "I figured you needed a refill.
Zypher smiled in appreciation. "You're and mind reader, you should set up a booth on the sidewalk." He teased.
When Navar came back out with a refreshed mug himself, he sat down beside Anna. "Oh? Trying to get rid of me already? Should I be offended? " He asked with humor. He then leaned back in the corner of the couch and studied them. "Enough with preliminaries, I want to hear about this alpha fight. " He said with interest.
