Aaron sighed quietly and covered himself with the blanket so he couldn't be seen while she went to the door. Not that there was anything going on besides enjoying the company of eachother, but appearances did need to be kept he supposed. Once the door shut he got up and straightened his clothes then went to sit with her at the table.

Star sighed softly at the parting and nodded "Yes, does this outfit look alright? I am still getting used to the clothing here." She asked, not really wanting him to leave just yet.

Shaylee growled again and moved, charging Pariah in hopes of taking her off guard at the sudden move. She couldn't leave Danika in the hands of that man or this demon. She had to try to get her free.

Danika struggled to get free of the pair that held her, her unicorn wanting to take over and flee the danger. 

Cadeon stepped over to her and gently guided Ember's chin to look at him. He said with all sincerity, " I shall compliment you everyday or even every hour, until you become accustomed to them. What you have created here, is beyond any man's comprehension and skill." He then stroked her cheek gently and smiled softly.

To her utter shame, she told Sorcha everything that had happened between Ender and herself. Including her episode last night. " Avalon looked out into the vacant room, not wanting to see judgment in her friends eyes.

That movie was the very one Pariah was hoping for. For as Shaylee lunged forward, Pariah sprayed venom in her face, as she blocked the blow. "Night, night, sleep tight!" She said with satisfaction, as she stepped back and watched Shaylee fight the effects of her venom.

She still felt rather guilty for asking Cicero about Anstrophia when she now knew he wasn't supposed to say anything about it.

"That is not something to be ashamed of, to find one you can twirl for is an opportunity so many do not get at all. We must change the law to make that paramount to other marriage laws. A twirl bond being higher than any arranged marriage or social classes."

Shaylee coughed and stumbled, raising a hand to wipe furiously at her eyes and face then looking to Pariah again. She raised her sword again and stepped closer to swing at her, though Pariah would easily be able to dodge or block her before the poison took effect and she went down, asleep. Her sword vanished when she was out, a safety mechanism she had added to the spell to keep it out of enemy hands.

"No Shaylee" Danika cried out and slumped in the gargoyle's hold

She looked to Ian again a long moment, before looking to Kallen. "Can I still stay?" She asked timidly, as she returned her focus to Jason.

She teased him playfully, as she settled the covers over them, as Aaran held the tray up out of the way.

"We have all the time in Anstopfia, my shining Star. We can prolong it a bit more if we eat in or would you rather not? Rite fights can be quite gruesome if they are fought in animal form. But given Jackdaw is a fey wolf, I almost guarantee it will be by dual." Falkirk said softly.

Avalon closed her eyes as she told the last little bit. About Ender's blood oath to King Racine. When she opened her eyes to look to Sorcha, she spoke mentally to her. "I've lost Ender forever. He's far beyond my reach now and it's only a matter of time before we both go mad form it."

"Claim my prize and let's go, before that white witch comes along to save them." Pariah ordered her gargoyles. She looked to Danika and smiled, "Don't worry, she's not dead. Though she'll wish she was by the time they're done with her." She explained happily, as she headed back the way she'd come from Menagerie.

Her gargoyles flying with both Danika and Shaylee in their stony grasp.
