Mark held her gently, rubbing her back to sooth her while she slept. He had never been this protective of anyone before, but then why would he have been, before her the only ones that mattered were his parents and siblings, and they were all gone now.

Ashton smiled nicely and explained, " It's just a way to numb the area that's to be worked on. You're still fully awake, but you just wont feel most of the pain.

"Call me back later when your not busy." He said hotly, before ending the call.

Harold put his phone down and called Mariam. Mariam picked up her phone, "I think Calum is going to try and get Diaval and Gold back, prepare." He said, "I will." She said and hung up.

Ericsson called in for assistance. Of course she couldn't have shifted to her easier form. This was going to be difficult.

Arwen snarled silently at the appearance of the men on the roof. She waited patiently until they stopped coming through the door before she opened fire on then, picking them off one at a time. She only used one bullet for each of the humans as she picked through their numbers. When she had it, she went for a kill shot, only taking lesser shots when she had to. Their pack had never had many bullets, so she had learned to conserve what they had even during practice.
