Phoebe tilted her head slightly to the side as recognition slowly came to her. She visibly relaxed her features, and stopped growling. Realizing she had visitors, she commanded, "announce yourselves." Her voice echoed down from the cave, a hint of fear flavoring her booming voice. She had not forgotten her ordeal in the hands of the menagerie, and knew there was more than one there."Phoebe" Fay called when they were close enough. She hoped the dragon would recognize her voice.
(Hey girl.(happy twelfth night!)
(I've had that problem with my phone. So aggravating. )(dang, I was trying to upload images of Asian style stilt houses, but my phone is being a jerk. Oh well! Like those ones in Hong Kong, Indonesia, or the Philippines)
(Wow, you're so descriptive I can see it and smell it.Slygotha slipped into the canal, feeling a bit claustrophobic in the shadowy, narrow tributary. There were small fishing boats tied to the shore, pulled up on the muddy banks to prevent their escape. The outskirts of the big city held the unfortunate poor who could not afford to live within it's main boundaries, and the banks were dotted with huts on stilts, wives hanging laundry from the windows, screeching children playing carelessly in the slums, and old men smoking their pipes quietly observing the world go by. The whole place smelled like fish, and was hot and humid.
(Phase them out for now. I need to dust off Markus and start with my Russians again. )Jackie held onto Bertram's mane, watching the forest as they rode through it together. It really was beautiful and serene, especially now that it held the small life forms to make it more real.

Anna nodded, giving him a smile before she got in and buckled. "I'm glad we can share those moments together."
Slithering onto the shore under a stilted home with tarps stretched over the windward side, Slygotha took on her human shape as she received the proffered clothing. Her lip curled slightly in disgust as she sniffed it, the musty human smells lingering all over the articles. Despite his seeming easy going nature, Slygotha felt it wise not to reject the gift, as it would indeed allow her to blend in even better than her mock shadowy garments, and she did not want to test the limits of a God's charity. Slipping lithely into the well worn dress, the cotton draped loosely over her delicate features, something Slygotha appreciated as she was not used to the restrictions of clothing. The movement of the cloth against her skin felt weird and irritating. She was glad her skin had recovered from shedding her scales earlier.(Wow, you're so descriptive I can see it and smell it.)
Anubis broke away to skirt around a hut to snag some dry clothing for Slygotha and her young. He left currency in exchange on the line. He then hurried back to the river and bit up stream.
