I've been waiting almost two months since I placed my order and they're finally supposed to arrive today but the phone hasn't rung....I know that MPC says anywhere from Tues - Thurs and lots of people don't get their call until Wed but when I called the PO last week they seemed certain they would arrive today. Said MPC ships Express Mail and Express Mail has to go overnight and be delivered by noon. I told them "Don't deliver - I'll pick them up. You can call no matter how early it is" and they said they'd make a note of it.

I haven't heard from MPC since the confirmation email immediately after placing the order. Do they usually call the week before shipping? (This is my first time ordering from them).

MPC won't call or make contact (unless there's a problem) after the confirmation. My order came on a Wednesday (the call came in at 6:23 in the morning). Best package ever

So what's the scoop? What did you order?

I'm in the same boat, MPC shipped yesterday and no call yet today. PO said that the last shipment of express mail comes at 10:30 so it couldb eny minute now.

DH has called me twice (I stayed home today just for this....) and each time I've jumped up and just known it was the PO calling. I don't want to say I was disappointed to see his number on the caller ID but....

1 Black Australorp, 1 RIR, 1 Plymouth Rock and 1 Red Star. I don't think any of these are rare or unusual so I really don't know why it was almost 2 months from order to delivery! In the meantime, I found someone locally who sold me some Buff Orpingtons (4) and Barred Rock X's (3) but I never got around to canceling my MPC order

Yay! I hope you've got your babies already!!!

Our PO gets 2 deliveries a day, one at like 6:30am and then another at about 2:30pm. I've had chicks arrive at both delivery times.
