Hole in Crop?!

The nature of the tear is important. If it's clean, not ragged, it will glue shut all right. Getting her on an antibiotic is a good idea.

Super glue is the glue to use. Stitches are not too useful on chicken skin since it's so thin and tears out easily.

To prep her you will need to flush out the crop with saline solution through the crop tear. You can use a turkey baster to get the saline inside. Massage the crop to swish out the contents. Keep doing it until the saline comes out clean. Make your own saline by boiling a couple cups of water and dissolve two teaspoons of salt without iodine and add some baking soda, too. Cool before using.

Pain meds and anesthetic are not necessary for chickens. They will experience minor pain, but will handle it just fine. Dry the wound well, and then glue the crop tear first, holding the edges together for one minute to set. Spray with Vetericyn. Then glue the outer skin tear. Get her started on the antibiotic asap.
