I'd love to see you do that too. And that one is just so cute!
But if we have to start with a different peeper, then I'm sure she will be cute too. I wish I'd done that with some of our Rhode Island Reds. I might not be looking at these Orpington X chicks strangely if I had. (I've actually never raised a Buff Orpington from a hatchling. Buffy was half grown.)
I bought a couple of those camping style egg carriers since my paper carton is a wreck now. I feel silly because I want to break them into pieces immediately, cut holes in them, and find a way to rough them up a bit or coat them in something non skid. Ideas are welcome.
Oh, the three boys that were exiled to the barn didn't have to be carried in tonight. They found a nice roost all by themselves. Here's hoping they keep doing it.
