Entry 1, Christmas stollen
I make this raised fruit bread on Christmas Eve and we have it spread with butter for Christmas breakfast. My mom started baking this every Christmas before I was born, so for me it's just not Christmas without stollen. And my in-laws have taken to this tradition too!

Entry #1: Japanese Cotton Cheesecake
The yummy cake that reminds you of a hybrid between a cheesecake and a spongecake. Not too sweet, awesome jiggly texture. It took me years to feel brave enough with my baking skills to first make this, and I will make it once a year now.

Entry #2: Pound Cake
This pound cake has the aspects of two different recipes, one being a classic recipe I used for years but combined with parts of the recipe we finally found for my husband's great-aunt who was known for her pound cakes around here! It is a "five flavor" pound cake because of her recipe. We make a pound cake only once or twice a year for special occasions, Christmas and a birthday usually!
